Job Details

We are currently looking to fill a Logistics Associate position. The Logistics Associate is a key member of an External Manufacturing Team who collaborates with various departments and manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery of materials and on-time production and release of parenteral medicines. The Logistics Associate works with minimal supervision, proactively identifies and resolves issues that could impact production schedules and identifies and implements meaningful change.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Drives continuous improvement of External Manufacturing systems and processes for shipping activities and other key business operations.
  • Coordinates and oversees all shipments in support of External Manufacturing.
  • Oversees and executes shipping documentation requirements to and from Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMOs).
  • Plans shipments (i.e. FDS, DP, samples, etc.) accordingly based on understanding the EM filling schedule.
  • Maintains, updates and provides status of External Manufacturing activities via schedules and checklists.
  • Supports investigations if needed in accordance with Regeneron requirements.
  • Tracks, trends and monitors External Manufacturing shipping data, inputs information to support creation of shipping paperwork package, prepares report, analyzes data and makes recommendations proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains critical data databases and ensures accuracy and integrity of the data to support KPIs and business operations.
  • Generates reports necessary to manage production activities and provides input on key decisions.
  • Collaborates directly with CMOs to resolve errors/questions on invoices or any key documentation.
  • Leads and supports Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of processes and operations.
  • Identifies problems and takes the initiative to resolve them.
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain Logistics in coordinating shipments and ensuring on-time deliveries.
  • Participates in key projects with the expectation to lead initiatives with increased importance to the EM organization.
  • Travels to contractor sites, as required (<10%).

This role may be for you if you:
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environments (i.e. SharePoint, Box, eRoom).
  • Exhibits confidence and has strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills for providing team updates.
  • Gains understanding from provided instructions and works towards goals with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working within GMP/Quality systems.
  • Exhibits a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in evolving and ambiguous environments.
  • Understands and listens to team members and stakeholders needs while supporting productive team environments toward one common objective.
  • Shows flexibility and willingness to collaborate in the face of challenges and adversarial situations.
  • To be considered for this role you must hold: Requires BS/BA in a related field or equivalent combination of education and the following years of experience:
  • Logistics Associate I – 0-2 years
  • Logistics Associate II - 2+ years
  • Logistics Associate III - 5+ years
  • Logistics Associate IV – 8+ years

Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
