Performs variety of activities in support of manufacturing in the API Milling, Micronizing, and Special Packaging areas. May interact with functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources for a specific project/business/technical or manufacturing unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Compiles and reviews data from multiple business areas. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Maintain and monitor inventory to ensure data accuracy and customer service. Review, correct and initiate production records. Allocate materials as required. Work closely with Operations, Quality, Warehouse and others to problem solve, resolve issues and ensure that customer service and inventory goals are met. Ability to participate on teams or in special projects and audits as needed. Detail oriented and complies with all regulatory guidelines and GMP’s.

Functional/Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of basic discipline. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Problem Solving and Innovation: Develop solutions to routine problems following established Pfizer policies and procedures.

Discretion, Latitude, Level of Independence: Closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.

Impact and Organizational Contribution: Contributes to the completion of routine tasks.

Teamwork/Influence: Contacts are primarily within immediate work group or within normal process-related work flow.

Time Span of Work: Daily tasks and deliverables. Results can usually be measured on daily or weekly basis.

QualificationsMust-Have

High school diploma / general education degree (GED) and one year related experience. Candidates with prior experience in a chemical or formulation manufacturing environment preferred and may differentiate candidates during the selection process.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to read documents and computer screens for extended (up to eight hours) periods of time as well as tolerate sitting for up to (eight hours).

  • Language Skills: Effective written and oral communication; attention to detail and accuracy

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications

  • Reasoning Ability: Must have intimate knowledge of business organization procedures / programs and be able to prioritize.
