Source To Pay Master Data Management & Ariba Analyst

As a member of the Source To Pay Center of Excellence, the Source To Pay Master Data Management & Ariba Analyst will support the administrative and operational tasks related to onboarding and maintaining suppliers within the Ariba platform. Additionally, they will work with several cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance across Waters' end to end source to pay functions within Ariba. As well as conduct complex system issue resolution and facilitate user understanding along with driving process improvements and compliance to our Source to Pay policies in support of the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert to drive issue resolution and any necessary collaboration with IT to resolve technical problems
  • Validate appropriate system user access roles and permissions and organizes seamless integration for new users as necessary
  • Lead system training for Ariba users by collaborating with the Training team to develop and maintain Ariba manuals, training documents and user guides.
  • Liaise with various operations, maintenance and planning groups and other end-users of master data to ensure complete and accurate supplier master data management
  • Act as the primary contact between WATERS and Ariba support to create new Ariba accounts, link supplier existing accounts and resolve vendor registration issues.
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders regarding implementation and maintenance of system catalogs
  • Ensure mitigation of financial risk by adhering to all internal controls and facilitating support of both internal and external audit requests. Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiency gains pertaining to the controls as master data maintenance processes are continuously changing to accommodate the needs of the business and our vendors
  • Ensure that checks, balances and validations in the system are followed to ensure accurate performance. Participate in master data audits and ensure corrective actions are taken based on the corrective areas identified
  • Performs controls testing for key STP controls, provides results to audit as necessary
  • Manages KPI development and distribution. Highlights performance gaps with root cause analysis

Qualifications

 

    • 5+ years of experience effectively supporting Ariba
    • Experience in using SAP accounting and purchasing modules a plus.
