We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager, Structural Biology, to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

Schrödinger is a leading provider of state-of-the-art scientific software and services for pharmaceutical and materials research. As a member of our Sales team, you’ll be responsible for growing revenue based on our structural biology-associated services for life science companies, academic institutions, and investment funding organizations across the US. Our protein crystallography unit is expanding its operations to meet growing demand, and you can expect to play a critical role in that expansion.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business in structural biology services
  • Oversee, nurture and grow existing service accounts
  • Work with the account management, application science and structural biology teams to support accounts’ needs
  • Produce timely and accurate business reports and revenue forecasts
  • Travel to customers, as well as represent and promote Schrödinger at conferences 

What you should have:

  • A relevant degree in life sciences 
  • At least three years of experience in Account Management or Business Development in the scientific software (or related) industry
  • Outstanding customer relationship and management abilities
  • Experience in a structural biology lab, or selling structural biology services, is a plus
  • Familiarity with computational chemistry software is a plus
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Netsuite) is a plus
