D&A Lead, Analytics Platforms

The lead of Analytics Platform is responsible for managing all data analytics platforms,

managing day-to-day requests for smooth projects execution at CSL. Partnering with other

II&A teams and Business Units in solving analytics capability needs through platform

management and development.

 Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Operational Monitoring:

• Monitor operations of all analytical platforms, including capacity, performance, alerts and issue tracking.
• Responsible for ensuing alignment with delivery of analytics capability for Business needs based on the KPIs and conformance to the platform usage and ensure no proliferation of tools outside of the set blueprint.
• Enables uniform usage of the platforms within the data-pipelines across the business units.

Platforms Development:

• Contributes to the development of platforms for insights and analytics at CSL including AI/ML capabilities.
• Partners with architects and business leads to design and build analytics capabilities as services using storage, streaming and batch data.
• Participates in design, implementation and testing of analytics platforms.
• Design and define integration patterns to connect multiple analytics platforms across the enterprise.

Requirements Specifications:

• Working with other business leads, build systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for cloud enabled technologies and ensure systems and data security across the platforms.
• Working with Director of Engineering participate in POC’s, identifying opportunities for improvements, troubleshoot missing capabilities.

Data Governance

• Working with other leads within IIA ensure data governance across all aspects of analytics platforms.
• Working with other architecture leads develop and manage end to end data architecture and governance process.

Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related

Experience

• 8+ years of Relevant experience in Data Engineering
• 5+ Experience in designing developing and architecting analytics platforms
• 3+ years of managing analytics platforms
• 3+ years of working in Cloud Platforms
• Aptitude for working with new tools, platforms with ease is a must
• Capable of troubleshooting problems in data analysis, data-pipelines, package installation, library incompatibilities is a must
