We’re seeking an IT Vendor Manager to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of our IT and Operations team, you’ll take complete intellectual ownership of IT asset acquisition, allocation, and storage. Your tech and financial savvy will make you a crucial member of our expanding Operations group during a high-growth period in our company’s history.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Finance to implement IT deliverables involved in the implementation of new purchasing system (Coupa)
  • Oversee administrative tasks involved in IT purchasing (i.e., seek approvals, generate purchase orders, track shipments and installations, resolve billing issues with vendors, handle RMA process)
  • Own all recurring purchases (i.e., employee systems, monitors, IT supplies, basic IT supplies)
  • License fulfillment (i.e., regular "stocking" of current licenses such as Gmail and Okta, and trafficking special one-off licenses, often for our Drug Discovery Group)
  • Manage vendor relationships (i.e., locating new vendors, determining product availability and sales terms, researching pricing)
  • Track arrival of physical items arrive into the IT department in NYC, and virtually track items as they arrive in other offices around the world or to employee home offices
  • Ensure organized storage of IT assets
  • Track and optimize IT spending

What you should have:

  • At least five years of purchasing experience
  • Previous stock control/inventory experience
  • Experience in issuing, coordinating and levelling RFPs
