Logistics Vaccine Distribution Specialist

The Distribution Specialist works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure orders can be created, picked/packed, and shipped to meet customer need-by date.

The Logistics Vaccine Distribution Specialist will perform the following:

• Initiate replenishment orders in SAP for picking activities
• Support vaccine picking activities as needed
• Works with BT support to troubleshoot errors, perform unpicks, carrier switches, reverse goods movements
• Print and organize distribution labels by carrier for use in processing vaccine shipments.
• Performs RF scanning on finished goods loads to assure they are packed, and post goods issued in a timely manner.
• Manage and coordinate inbound insulated containers and Dry Ice to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Work closely with other internal and external customers to and ensure orders can be created, picked/packed, and shipped to meet customer need-by date.
• Create and verify all required shipping paperwork including BOLs and invoices.
• Works closely with the transportation onsite providers to coordinate outbound shipments.

Must-Have

• HS/GED with 7-10 years of relevant experience Or
• An Associate Degree w/ 2-5 year’s experience or
• Bachelor’s degree w/ 1-2 year’s experience
• SAP Experience

• Warehouse/Distribution experience preferred

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required. Job will also entail occasional weekend, shutdown and holiday coverage. Job will require off-shift support.
