Manager, Global Brand Management - Hybrid Role

HYBRID - This role is considered a hybrid position that is within a commutable driving distance to the Summit, New Jersey office to work onsite 1-2 days per week and attend occasional in person meetings / events as required.

The Role 

Global Franchise Strategy

• Facilitate the development of the annual Influenza Integrated Franchise Plans for the Seqirus influenza portfolio

• Oversee the progress of the Franchise Plan and ensure the accountability of the functional teams with their plans

• Contribute to the design of Seqirus’ global differentiation strategy, strategic imperatives, and cross-functional tactical plans to achieve commercial objectives

• Support the positioning development and improvement of the Seqirus influenza portfolio

Brand Building

• Ensure the global positioning of the assigned brand align with the franchise strategy of Seqirus influenza portfolio, refine and improve the brand positioning over time, based on the market knowledge

• Be part of the implementation of life-cycle management (LCM) strategies that allow for short- and long-term growth of the brand

• Get involved in the development/validation of a differentiated and market research-based brand positioning that supports strategy and priority segments

• Drive the overall strategy and tactics of the assigned brand with limited oversight and responsible for implementation, accountable for the development of key brand messages and global creative expression and branding for the assigned brand, as well as enhancement of other brand assets

• Budget management of assigned brand, with additional responsibility on budget mgt at the franchise level

Connections with regions and other functions

• Partner with regional team to develop customized product positioning strategies and marketing tactics for top Seqirus markets, proactively apply the learnings and best practices across the region

• Support launch planning with regional markets by providing global insights and sharing global assets

• Collaborate with the Pandemic team to develop a strategic plan that allows for future growth while supporting Seqirus Seasonal business

• Team up with regulatory, medical, and legal teams to roll out the global materials

• Apply Market and Competitive Intelligence to inform strategic direction

• Work together with Medical Affairs to provide input into global congress execution, partnering with the local team around booth development and logistics, key customer events, symposium, product presentations, etc

• Builds bridges and helps teams develop collaboration with proactivity

Global Marketing Analytics

• Work in partnership with Marketing Analytics to monitor the brand goal with the actual performance, identify gaps, assess the potential impact, analyze the alternative solution and provide recommendation

• Develop a deep understanding of the market dynamics, conduct marketing research to uncover the issues

• Team up with Marketing Intelligence to conduct a competitive wargame

Your skills and experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, life sciences or healthcare discipline

• Master’s degree preferred

• 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing or related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry (5-7 years required for Senior Manager)

• Experience working in an intercultural work environment

• Product management experience is preferred
