GRAIL is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Engineer on the IT Engineering team, to help build custom processes and applications using Salesforce's business configurable components, including related applications across the CRM environment. This individual should be a technical subject matter expert for Salesforce and related CRM applications and appropriate use with respect to the entire Customer Life Cycle.
 
This role will also be involved in specific enterprise CRM projects, engaging with stakeholders to understand their requirements and involved in the development, qualification, deployment and support of new systems and capabilities.

You Will:
  • Understand, protect, and extend core OOTB SFDC objects and functionality
  • Maintain high security, performance, and data integrity of SFDC objects and functionality while extending them with:
  • Approval Processes
  • Case Assignment rules
  • Custom fields on standard objects
  • Custom objects and fields 
  • External Objects
  • Flows
  • Formulas
  • Knowledge Base
  • Managed Packages (e.g. Apttus, Conga, Docusign)
  • Page Layouts
  • Profiles
  • PermissionSets
  • Role Hierarchy
  • Territory Management
  • Validation rules
  • Lead change control process that ensures no interruption to daily SFDC operations and ensures stakeholders are fully aligned with and aware of changes.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Stakeholders to capture technical requirements for deliverables and set/update tenable timeframes for their implementation.
  • Create maintenance roadmaps/schedules for SFDC sandbox and production orgs.
  • Proactively fill technical knowledge gaps before and when needed.
  • Ensure Grail leverages new SFDC features as they become available. 
  • Fully leverage standard project management toolsets (JIRA, Smartsheets, Asana).
  • Provide strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Support all phases of the SDLC by either Agile or Waterfall methods.

Your Background Will Include:
  • Advanced Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience that includes at least two successful Implementations.
  • 6+ years Salesforce CRM implementation and application administration.
  • 3+ years building Salesforce declarative applications (e.g. Flows).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science and database maintenance.
  • Experience with supporting regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX, HIPAA)
  • Business workflow such as HCP/Sunshine act, Medical CRM, Case Management etc., understanding across the customer lifecycle, document system configuration, workflows, and field/data maps.
  • Excellent written and verbal listening and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MarketingCloud, Pardot, Conga/Apttus
