The Director of Commercial Training is responsible for preparing and conducting in-person and virtual training sessions for new and existing sales employees. This includes, product knowledge, sales skills, sales process and other tools/resources relative to successful job performance that will help drive sales excellence through command of Solution Selling to increase funnel size, shape and velocity.

This position will be remote based within the US.

You Will:
  • Oversee all new inside and outside sales hires activities including field readiness training, re-work, enrollment, classroom training (including curriculum development, delivery, and testing/certification) 
  • Support New Product launch, including pre-launch e-learning modules, tools and sales-readiness exercises, live courses and full launch meeting planning and execution (in a variety of methods ranging from e-learning to live meeting
  • Partner with the Competitive Intelligence team to identify potential commercial challenges and develop and deliver training to all levels of the organization that will enable Grail to compete and win in the marketplace
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Continuing Education—responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement by being closely aligned with the medical affairs team
  • Develop and deliver pertinent material that will improve the way we sell and market products in specific markets. These courses may include advanced product training or selling/negotiating/presentation skills courses
  • Support sales meetings and other large-scale meeting execution, including identifying needs, developing curriculum (and logistics) and delivering material to a vast audience including senior level executives
  • Master at translating marketing and sales requirements into professional training plan for the field sales organization

Your background should include:
  • Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years working in a sales training or clinical education function
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience leading RevOps teams for hyper-growth companies with complex selling environments.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting multi-channel sales efforts, complex sales campaigns, sales to service handoffs, and a team approach to selling for direct sales and channel-based sales motions
  • Experience working within a highly matrixed organization partnering across multiple businesses and stakeholders
  • Experience developing and executing on complex training strategy
  • Strong knowledge of the Healthcare Ecosystem and Competitive Landscape
  • Previous experience in a sales role with a track record of exceeding performance target
