Summary

This position leads the project management process for Business Strategy & Analytics. The project manager supports the Executive Director, Global Oncology Business Strategy & Analytics and the BSA team, and is accountable for providing project oversight, analytics, insights and guidance to ensure all key projects and project owners stay on track to timelines and deliverables. This position streamlines the project management process as appropriate, shares best practices amongst team members as well as analyzes historical data and trends to make recommendations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to project kickoffs & touch points, analyses and slide creation, coordination among team members for inputs and updates and project prioritization. The position will act as a liaison with departmental directors, brand leads, and other key stakeholders for most projects within BSA. This position also leads the monitoring and reporting of actual spend for the department and works with vendors to initiate and drive new projects to completion. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality. The incumbent will need to take initiative, be able to work cross-functionally, work with minimal supervision, possess a high degree of professionalism and successfully collaborate with other OBU team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develops project requirements, resource allocation, timelines and touch-points
  • Streamlines project management process as appropriate; shares best practices amongst global teams, creates templates, etc
  • Interacts with members across the OBU at varying levels and areas of responsibility and elicits cooperation on cross-functional projects
  • Monitors projects for any variances in schedule and risk
  • Maintains a repository of BSA projects that includes objectives, timelines, deliverables and stakeholderso Examples of projects include: Budget development and tracking, Decision Point Analyses/Recommendations (i.e. DP2, DP3), Investor Relations Deliverables and ad hoc projects such as staff meeting agendas and template creation and development
  • Acts as the point of contact with vendors on secondary analysis projects
  • Responsible for the specification, assembly and delivery of quarterly business reviews for the leadership team
  • Works with the BSA & Global Oncology Marketing teams to understand project priorities and compile the budget accordingly
  • Works with global forecasting leads to consolidate assumptions and summaries across assets

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Experience Qualifications

  • 4 or More Years Overall related experience required
  • 1 or More Years Project management and analytics and insights related to budget management in a complex global environment. preferred
  • Pharmaceuticals experience preferred
