As a member of the Supply Chain organization, the Contract Master Data Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of item master material to support Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies supply chain operations, ensuring business continuity, and accurate data quality. They will collaborate with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to utilize processes and workflows to build a strong data foundation for supply chain. Pioneer master data governance best practices with a focus in continuous improvement to promote growth and structure for daily supply chain operations. The Contract Master Data Coordinator will also be adaptable to assisting with business or IT projects to advise on master data topics and execute necessary activities.

 

This is a contract position scheduled to last at least 12 months offering benefits.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create material master items in SAP
  • Create Process Orders in ERP system
  • Ability to follow the production schedule
  • Work with Document Control team in requesting batch records
  • Work with MFG and support teams to utilize latest revision of batch records
  • Define business rules and assist user with master data topics
  • Measure master data quality and report finding to ensure clean data
  • Research new technologies to promote growth of MDM best practices
  • Identify and propose process or system improvement opportunities
  • Must be able to incorporate the company's long term strategy into activities
  • Knowledge of data governance policies, processes, and organization
  • Troubleshoot and support all master data related requests including materials, vendors, BOMs, and recipes
  • Be a subject matter expert within all areas of master data management 

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 2+ years' experience in a master data environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide cross functional planning with internal and external customers/suppliers.
  • Strong data entry and data management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer focus and high sense of urgency when assisting business users
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing business critical data in ERP systems
  • Ability to document functional requirements, business rules, and process flows to build master data governance
  • Interpersonal skills are a must to be able to work will with individuals at all levels within the company

Preferred:

  • Experience in MES systems (PAS-X) a plus
  • 2+ years' experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred

 

FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations. This position will require access to technical data, technology and source code that is controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22 C.F.R. Parts 120 – 130 and Export Administration Regulations in 15 C.F.R. Part 730 – 774, as may be amended. To conform to these laws and regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., protected individuals as defined by 8 USC 1324(b)(a)(3) (i.e., asylees and refugees) or otherwise eligible for an export authorization from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
