The QC Data Coordinator will assist the Quality Control department with organizing paper and electronic records, reconciliation and tracking of documents and data in an organized manner within the department and labs, in binders, cabinets and/or online folders, and tracking the location administratively.  This position will help support the team with photocopying, scanning and completing sets of documents critical for pharmaceutical product release and stability and requires a keen attention to detail and willingness to support a variety of teams and employees within the department.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The QC Data Coordinator will assist the Quality Control department with organizing paper and electronic records, reconciliation and tracking of documents and data in an organized manner within the department and labs, in binders, cabinets and/or online folders, and tracking the location administratively.  This position will help support the team with photocopying, scanning and completing sets of documents critical for pharmaceutical product release and stability and requires a keen attention to detail and willingness to support a variety of teams and employees within the department.


MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizing files, and documents for the Quality Control department.
  • Helping to prepare reports in Master Control, Word, Excel, and other business systems.
  • Maintaining tracking systems utilized internally and externally for daily assessment of progress toward batch/stability report readiness.
  • Organizing testing and other documents into binders and preparing and delivering reports to other internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Review and manage document retention and organize/ship to offsite storage facilities or onsite warehouse.
  • Perform revision of related instructional documents within QC
  • Order supplies pertinent to Sample Logistics and Data Management responsibilities
  • Perform similar tasks for other labs as development and availability allows

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA is an asset and ideal for future potential career progression within the department and company
  • Quality control experience is also an asset or working in the pharmaceutical industry supporting cGMP areas
  • Attention to detail
  • Administrative experience in heavily paper-based systems where documents are critical
  • Solid customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to physically lift and organize binders, boxes of paper, and hours standing and walking (copying and delivering critical documents between buildings on campus
