Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer with the operations required for the assembly and packaging of finished goods. You will manage product finishing scheduling, setting up, operating, maintaining, and adjusting processes or packaging equipment.

As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks and identify process issues or problems that involve direct application of your skills and knowledge. You will be relied upon to maximize quality and efficiency, completing batch records and associated documentation, and working in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment.

• Perform equipment change parts room functions.
• Ensure appropriate cleans are performed, which will include mopping floors, cleaning walls, sanitizing tools and equipment and operating various cleaning equipment.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure cleaning process does not impact manufacturing areas.
• Maintain training, train and mentor new colleagues and relevant teams.

• Set-up and operate printers, scales, tools and robotic equipment for the purpose of packaging finished product.
• Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Perform all necessary documentation including required labels, batch records, cleaning forms, assembly logs, work orders, etc.
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding issues and errors with Good Manufacturing Practices documentation and comply with cGMP.

Work Team Enabler will perform activities in support of the work team including:

• Posting and/or verifying material usage in the Material Resource Planning (MRP) system(s). Conducting investigations related to inventory discrepancies and errors in the MRP system within the unit. Managing and tracking the flow of batch records between operations and QO. Conducting reconciliation activities associated with completion of Batch Records. Verifying and accurately tracking the use or destruction of production components and returns of excess components. Managing inventory of sundry items and necessary unit’s supplies. Assisting the management of unit’s training records by entering completed training records into the tracking system and supporting updates to training documents. Supporting updates to unit’s standard operating procedures and related risk assessments. Tracking production lot on hold process. Managing purchases for the unit. Also responsible for annual record retention and maintenance of unit’s logs and/or forms. Provides support other production units.
• Supporting the manufacturing and/or packaging operation by ensuring that applicable safety guidelines/policies are followed and that all tasks are conducted in accordance with appropriate processing standards, such as FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Must Have

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience
• Math and reading skills required for Standard Operating Procedure, Good Manufacturing Practices {cGMP} and Batch Record comprehension
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Excellent communication skills
• Evidence of strong team interaction and leadership skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Application

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge and understanding of GMP's and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS ​

• High school graduate or equivalent; prefer 2 years manufacturing experience or 4 years related experience
• Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: PIV certification required.
• Mathematical Skills: Math and reading skills required for SOP, GMP and Batch Record comprehension
• Handle controlled substances and other materials / chemicals.
• Able to Lift up to 25 LBS
• Overtime may be required.
• Use fork truck to move pallets and stage raw materials.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• The current schedule is a 3rd shift position with core hours from 11pm to 7:18am Monday through Friday with overtime required.
• Considerable standing, walking, bending, reaching and lifting up to 42 pounds. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required.
• Must be able to perform manual, repetitive-motion tasks as required.
• Work Environment: Colleague is frequently exposed to airborne particles and must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Use of eye protection is required.
