he Molecular Profiling and Data Science Group is seeking a scientist with experience in machine learning. You will design, develop, and apply machine learning and deep learning methods to multiple forms of biological data, with a focus on immune receptors.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Create and contribute to machine learning, deep learning, and bioinformatics software packages used by scientists and analysts.
  • Work with scientists from many therapeutic areas.
  • Present findings to teams from across the Regeneron scientific community.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences.

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD in Computational Biology, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with demonstrable experience in ML (professional/academic experience, or personal projects with github). Expertise with Python and common machine learning and deep learning libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch and sklearn. Familiarity with Unix, shell scripting, and cloud computing. Previous experience with database systems (particularly Spark), single cell sequencing data, and protein structure analysis will be looked upon favorably.
