JOB SUMMARY:

·The Senior Manager Facility Systems is responsible for the new facility systems for the major and strategic site CAPEX projects that are linked to the company Strategy Plan and clients.

·The role represents maintenance and facility functions in the critical infrastructure, utilities and process systems to corporate and site leadership, regulatory and client auditors, and project management teams, while working closely with other technical functions, design firms, consultants, and contractors to ensure the top class facility operation standard, best practices are properly applied into the concept, design, construction installation and testing.

·The incumbent will build, lead, and motivate a high functioning team to achieve CAPEX facility and maintenance development and success, and meet the overall Resilience site objectives.

·The incumbent will establish High level of collaboration with CAPEX project leadership to ensure support to CAPEX project from concept to final CQV and operation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement system for world class equipment and facility uptime by seeking root causes of the failures and address them from repeating.

  • Empower the team to drive the continuous improvement to reduce unscheduled breakdown activities.

  • Initialize and manage the maintenance and calibration programs to ensure they are effective, minimizing business disruption and ensuring their compliance to SOPs and regulatory practice.

  • Strategize planned facility shutdown programs to ensure maximum asset utilization is built by design.

  • Provide SME support for facility, utility and process systems including PW, WFI, CS, CA, HVAC, BAS, SCADA.

  • Ensure facility and maintenance operation systems are designed and built at highest standard with the best practices in the industry.

  • Ensure GMP utilities are designed and built in at world class standard for construction and operation.

  • Manage contracts with vendors, contractors. Services provider and individual consultant contracts and personnel will need to be negotiated, managed, and monitored for delivery.

  • Ensure maintenance CMMS system, CCMS system and other system are designed and installed with deep considerations for user efficiency and compliance.

  • Ensure work order and other systems are built properly to support a successful vertical start up.

  • Setup facility and maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

  • Select & manage qualified vendors for routine maintenance, and supply of equipment.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Maintenance/Engineering Management, preferably within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry.

  • Experience in successfully leading and managing engineers and maintenance personnel including but not limited to equipment mechanics, maintenance, building operations and others within a cross functional organization

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and align departmental objectives with Resilience’s goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal, technical writing, and oral communication skills.

  • Strong scientific background and understanding of GMP commercial and clinical operations.

  • Demonstrated experience in process characterization and product development, technology transfer, validation, continuous improvement and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective and efficient teams, and drive change within organizations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • P Eng.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pre-employment medical and medical re-examination; inclusive of eye examination, performed every 2 years or as per RESILIENCE’s SOPs

  • This position requires vaccination for Hepatitis A and B
