We are looking for anEvent Planner to oversee, coordinate and manage off-site events across Europe. This is an unlimited, full-time position, located in Berlin. 
 
Penumbra in Europe is a dynamic, open-minded and constantly growing team of nearly 250 employees in 16 different countries across Europe (globally 3.800 employees). As part of the Marketing organisation the Event team plays a crucial role in bringing our life saving products to our customers by organising different kinds of events and meeting across Europe. 
What You'll Work On
  • Supervise trade shows from setup to dismantle 
  • Manage all satellite events at major conferences, such as customer events, workshops and symposiums 
  • Serve as a principal liaison between the product management, creative, and exhibit house during the planning process for a conference or trade show 
  • Plan and coordinate the timely completion of event materials and deliverables 
  • Work with the sales team to finalize attendees for all major conferences 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Track expenses for meetings and events to ensure they are in line with the budget 
  • Maintain and work with the event database  
  • Ensure all conferences and meetings are compliant with HCC guidelines and stay updated with new guidelines 

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any related discipline 
  • Ideally minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning 
  • Fluent in German and English 
  • Experience in marketing coordination within the tech industry would be a plus 
  • Energized by working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and priorities 
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to drive solutions and resolve issues creatively 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Strong hands-on mentality, flexible, customer-oriented, open-minded and excellent intercultural skills 
  • Willingness to travel (maximum once a month) 
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office and other IT tools to work with shared information  
  • You are ideally based in Berlin
