We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Associate Scientis to join our Oncology in vivo pharmacology team. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating novel oncology therapeutics in pre-clinical models. Hands on experience and substantiated knowledge with mouse oncology models is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, generating and communicating pharmacology data to support the progression of oncology research programs. Title will commensurate with experience.

Primary responsibilities:

· Designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting in vivo studies (efficacy, PK/PD)

· Pre-clinical model development and characterization

· Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, accurate, timely record keeping and data analysis

· Interface with cross-functional project team members, and participation in and presentation at project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings

Qualifications & prior experience:

· BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology related discipline

· 7+ years of research experience in an industry setting

· Research experience with mouse models of cancer and cancer immunotherapy

· Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques including dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in life and terminal blood collection, collection and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis

· Experience with in vivo imaging is desired

· Experience with sterile tissue culture, and molecular and basic cellular biology techniques is required

· Hands on experience with flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis (5+ colors) is desired

· Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

· The ability to work independently on day to day responsibilities and research goals
