The Sales Operations Analyst will actively support the master data management needs for the organization’s commercial efforts in the areas of sales performance reporting, sales force sub-national commercial analytics and insights, sales force alignments, incentive compensation quality control, CRM, and commercial data warehousing. This position reports to the Director, Sales Operations, and works closely with US and Global IT and several third-party vendors.

 

  • Triage, research and work to resolve mismatched customer records between third-party customer data audits (such as IQVIA) and our customer master data of record (Veeva OpenData)
  • Work closely with our partner Veeva Data Stewards to review and resolve field-initiated data change requests that have been rejected or require additional information or resubmission
  • Work with the Idorsia IT service desk and with our field colleagues directly to collect, research, resolve and respond to data related concerns, questions or issues
  • Assist the Sales Operations team in managing, analyzing, and implementing geographic alignment changes
  • Assist the Sales Operations team in regular data quality control of the field reporting suite of dashboards (Power BI)
  • Assist the Sales Operations team in partnering with our incentive compensation administration vendor to ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of data exchanges
  • Collaborate with Sales and IT partners to implement, or improve upon existing, data standards
  • Actively participate in commercial data governance planning
  • Monitor data quality, analyze trends and report to proactively remediate data quality identified issues
  • Support other Sales Operations systems and processes as needed

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of data analysis experience.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise with MS Excel for executing analytic tasks against large data sets

                                              

Preferred

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing or Data/IT Support role with some or all of the responsibilities being data management or stewardship, commercial/sales operations or analytics preferred
