In this vital role the Omnichannel Marketing Manager for Cardiovascular (Repatha) will not only have a significant impact on the continued and future success of our US Cardiovascular business at Amgen, but also the lives the CV patients that can benefit from Repatha treatment.

The role of the Omnichannel Marketing Manager of Cardiovascular (Repatha) reports to the Senior Manager Omnichannel Marketing of Cardiovascular (Repatha). This role is responsible for supporting the design, development and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns that uniquely reach the targeted HCP audiences. This role will be responsible for pulling through market insights and campaign performance & analytics to deliver a sound omni-channel strategy that optimizes performance for a desired behavior change. This role will require collaboration across critical internal functions, and external agency partners to implement change with agility. The ideal candidate is collaborative, strategic, and has a deep understanding of omni-channel marketing, segmentation & audience strategy, agency management, content strategy, and is ultimately driven by a passion for serving patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the customer segmentation/profiling work for the brand working cross functionally and closely with commercial insights, data and analytics partners (CD&A)
  • Support the cross-brand channel, digital, and content strategy working closely across all functions
  • Measure and report performance of cross channel/platform HCP marketing campaigns and assess the brands progress in delivering against goals. Identify trends and insights to provide optimization recommendations
  • Partner closely with Campaign Ops teams to design, develop and deploy end to end HCP campaigns
  • Manage site updates, content refresh, SEO optimizations, and UX optimizations leveraging ongoing market research insights, and GA performance insights. Manage cross-functional partnership with IS team, and creative & development agencies to optimize website.
  • Lead CRM strategy through creating email journey across audience segments, developing content, driving first party data enrollment, and optimizing & providing insights based on performance analytics.
  • Facilitate Medical/Legal/Regulatory compliance approval of all creative assets, and content development through standardized MAC process.
  • Support the Customer 360 initiatives for the business, working closely with Global Commercial Capabilities and Digital Technology & Innovations teams to ensure clear plans when it comes to new capability builds and quarterly planning
  • Support the development and deployment of insights-driven future strategies and innovations that will put Amgen in a leadership position and drive behavior change among target HCPs
  • Develop and deliver on revenue and expense forecast expectations by managing budgets and closely monitor performance to meet brand goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs.
  • Continually evaluate evolving marketing trends and technologies to recommend new channels and capabilities that drive improved ROIs
  • Collaborate closely with multiple business partners, just to name a few most critical ones: HCP/IDN Marketing, Sales leaders, Value and Access, and the full Repatha x-functional brand team
  • Support agency management to develop and produce engaging creative and tactics via traditional and innovative channels.

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Bachelors Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Associates Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and implementing innovative commercial strategies, within highly competitive markets where innovation and marketing prowess are a key factor of success
  • Omnichannel execution experience with attention to improving speed, quality, cost, and customer experience across multiple channels.
  • Strong self-starter; project management and ability to lead others to meet multiple priorities simultaneously in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication effectiveness: The ability to effectively engage, connect, and influence others
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, segmentation and audience strategy, and content development.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to draw insights from performance & analytics.
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Remote possible. Travel as needed ~20%
