Business Product Intern, User Experience

This internship will help the Business Product team to accelerate the implementation of Salesforce integrations with our test kit vendors, and support user research and competitive analysis efforts to continuously refine the user experience of Freenome’s Commercial Test Kit.

  • Salesforce Integrations: Work closely with Business Product, Supply Chain, and Software Development teams to provide end-user testing support for the integrations between Freenome’s Salesforce instance and its test kit vendor. Generate testing data and user acceptance testing scripts, and lead end-user testing among all Freenome stakeholders for software functionalities related to Freenome’s Commercial Test Kit.
  • Competitive Analysis: Compare the proposed Freenome Commercial Test Kit configurations, workflows and instructions to those from similar products on the market. Summarize how different approaches could affect user experience.
  • User Research: Assist Business Product and Design leads conducting both external and internal user research on the proposed options of Freenome’s Commercial Test Kit. Provide timely interview data analysis to the interview team.
  • Final Deliverable: Based on the overall analysis of the current software and inventory management flows, competitive analysis and user research results, suggest modifications required for Freenome Commercial Test Kit workflows and instructions for improving user experience. Present the findings and recommendations at Freenome’s Intern Showcase.

  • One to two years of post-undergraduate working experience in operations (examples: Client Services agent, Phlebotomist, Accessioner, Lab Operations) and interested in transitioning to a business analyst or product manager role.
