We’re seeking a Protein Engineering for Biocatalytics Intern to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of our Life Sciences team, you’ll work on projects related to molecular simulation of polymers and soft matter. Your experience in atomistic simulation of proteins and understanding of the basic biocatalysis of organic molecules will make you an essential member of our New York office.

What you’ll do: 

  • Work on projects related to molecular simulation of proteins, polymers, and soft matter
  • Gain high-level proficiency with Schrödinger simulation software
  • Apply Schrödinger’s software to critical technology areas, including drug discovery, biologics, and chemoinformatics

What you’ll need:

  • Experience with Free Energy and enhanced sampling techniques
  • Basic Python proficiency
  • Familiarity with popular scientific computing packages including NumPy and Matplotlib
  • Background in high-performance computing
  • Understanding of basic protein engineering concepts
