Regeneron Pharmaceutical’s Analytical Chemistry Group, located at Tarrytown, NY is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Scientist to join our group. In this role, you will work with LC-MS technologies to support development and characterization of therapeutic protein drug candidates including mAb, ADCs, and other new modalities. You will utilize expertise and working knowledge of various LC-MS platforms and applications to solve analytical problems. The ideal candidate will have a background in biological mass spectrometry.

A Typical Day in The Role Might Look Like:
  • Conduct LC-MS experiments and analyze data to elucidate quality attributes of therapeutic protein candidates and/or products
  • Develop LC/MS based analytical methods to support the development of monoclonal antibody-based therapeutic proteins
  • Document experiments, results, and findings in electronic laboratory notebooks; present work at the group and project meetings; engage in the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and analytical method protocols, etc.
  • Provide data in a quality presentation form (graphs, figures, tables, etc.) to support regulatory submissions
  • Participate in the general lab and instrument maintenance.

This role requires a PhD in analytical chemistry, or closely related field with 0-2 years of post-graduate experiences in protein mass spectrometry. Knowledge and hand-on experience in LC/MS based protein, peptide and PTM analysis is preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills needed. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and solve problems preferred. Proven ability to work in a team environment preferred.
