The Senior Director, Rare Disease Marketing EVKEEZA team lead will be responsible for the US marketing efforts and optimization of the business performance of EVKEEZA by maximizing HCP and Patient marketing, driving appropriate patient growth and profitability by remaining steadfast in Regeneron’s goal to serve patients.  He/she will lead the EVKEEZA marketing team, motivating and developing the team for driving the EVKEEZA brand forward in year 2 of its launch, developing and implementing strategies and associated tactics to optimize goals.

Specifically, the individual will have accountability for providing strategic leadership and cross-functional direction to successfully drive the US marketing efforts in the ultra-rare disease space. 

The individual must be capable of developing credible and trusted relationships with their team as well as with key stakeholders across the Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Communication, Patient Support Services, key HCP customers and other relevant partners.

The Senior Director must also foster a customer-driven Regeneron culture ensuring patients are first in all business activities.  This must be accomplished while continuing to deliver commitments within budget, revenue targets and timelines ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, industry regulations and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • A recognized and experienced cross-functional leader with biotechnology / pharmaceutical experience with a recent track record of successful product launches, highly preferred if in the Rare disease space.
  • Significant aptitude for managing intercompany relationships.
  • An authentic commitment to working closely with the patient community.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills are required, as well as a level of comfort at working in a high-growth, fast-paced matrix environment, where influencing and negotiating across an organization are a prerequisite.
  • An agile learner who has the ability to grow with the organization, taking on increasing responsibilities as both Regeneron and the Commercial organization grows.
  • Qualifications:
  • BS in a life sciences, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Recent launch experience in the rare disease space a strong plus
  • Experience in leading a marketing team
  • 15+ years of progressive industry/relevant professional experience; 13+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or related experience
  • 10+ years of people and industry leadership experience through progressively increasing leadership positions.
  • Strong executive-level skills required, including a demonstrated track record of success in leading a team while delivering agreed revenue targets.
  • Ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams and to achieve results through cooperation with and across functions.
