As a Digital Technology Director, Global Medical Communications for Medical Affairs you will lead the identification, development and implementation of digital technology solutions. The aim is to transform how our Medical Affairs organization can deliver scientific and medical content to HCPs, patients and payers globally. This role will be crucial in amplifying our ability to assimilate and communicate accurate scientific information in a more impactful and timely manner, thereby accelerating improvement in care for patients. 
Serving as an expert the in the omnichannel global medical communications team, you will be a key contributor in ensuring the delivery of targeted and engaging communications. You will partner across Regeneron to ensure alignment of execution and digital infrastructure, respectively, with our content strategy within the Medical Franchises.

A typical day might include the following:
Developing plans and business cases for our new digital solutions, purchases and programs. Examples include: streaming video delivery, rapid-access to materials on portable devices, and apps. This may involve a CRM system that supports ongoing communications streams and delivers personalized content with regular frequency. It might be a content repository that invites partners to repeatedly re-engage and consume content/education.
Ensuring Global Medical Affairs is current on industry trends with digital solutions that supports targeted medical communications. These are to include: Field Medical, Medical Information, Regeneron Sponsored Medical Education, Scientific Communications, and Multichannel Medical Communications.
Provide day-to-day coordination of activities for innovative partnerships with external companies.
Innovating to differentiate Regeneron and Medical Affairs in the market, providing unique value to customers that strengthens external relationships
Ensuring close and active collaboration with global innovation teams
Participating in learning and training programs on digital healthcare and innovative solutions

•    Makes the best decision possible based on a mixture of data analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.

To be considered for this you a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business systems or communications with 8+ years leading Digital Technology programs is required. Experience delivering key initiatives in a cross-functional corporate environment that is undergoing change management is needed as is experience creating and launching digital projects and applications. Demonstrated ability researching the latest trends/innovations and changes within technology, and how they apply to communications, preferably in the field of digital health/medical devices. Experience in Biotech, Pharma or Healthcare and knowledge of how Medical Affairs teams communicate with would be desirable.
