You’re a dot connector, working with Commercial business units, you'll be the connector between internal and external partners, making sure that needs are translated and understood correctly and delivered in the best way possible.

This role will be both an advisor, an educator and strategic innovator for Regeneron Commercial organization, inclusive of newer and more innovative Marketing, Market Access and Medical Affairs operations. You are a respected industry leader that partners internally and has strong external relationships delivering innovative ways and strategies to improve impact and outcomes while enrolling others in the journey.

A typical day might include:
  • Create, enroll and drive the Procurement plan for, with and through the partner community by identifying business needs and develop the vision, strategy and implementation for categories of spend to deliver best-in-class value for the assigned category
  • Work directly with supplier leadership to ensure alignment of our objectives, including thought leadership, service, innovation and cost
  • Demonstrate thought leadership of key supply market trends/dynamics through external benchmarking, data gathering, and supplier enabled innovation to drive overall transformation
  • Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments through annual business planning cycle and quarterly reviews
  • Expertise in Category thought leadership with advanced Category knowledge, Marketing Services and Macro global trends based on assigned category championship
  • Perform additional work not included in job description but similar in nature Responsibilities
  • Serve as procurement representative to Brand Marketing and Consumer Experience teams, to implement Procurement strategies that are aligned with business/sector needs
  • Elevate supplier management with Suppliers by facilitating supplier management meetings with the key suppliers with clear critical metrics
  • Implement RFP events in partnership with local, regional, and distributed team members, and others across Commercial, Legal, and others

This role might be for you if you have:
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of overall business experience is required.
  • Broad-based understanding of business operations, practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management) is required.
  • Experience using various procurement technology platforms to gather insights and deliver data is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, collaboration and talent development skills are required.
  • Track record of success, identifying and implementing new business, opportunities, measuring and delivering in-market results is preferred.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, create and implement solutions to complex problems, overcoming obstacles when necessary is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to shape, data-driven procurement strategies, inclusive of digital, communications, commerce, content technology (content supply chain), marketing operations, CRM, and traditional channels is preferred.
