Role Summary
The colleague in this position delivers and contributes to projects that help achieve business strategy and vision, in Quality and integrated areas critical to the organization. Supports the delivery of global sustainable and integrated Solutions, providing Pfizer a competitive advantage, enabling greater productivity in a managed risk environment. Supports process and technology improvement projects and initiatives.
Collaborates with digital and business stakeholders along with other digital team members. Works closely with end user on business process or technical matters and provides technology expertise.
Participates in supporting the implementation strategy for the integrated, standardized systems and business processes and provides support on Digital activities in support of the Pfizer businesses. Support or contribute in designing SAP new enhancements and testing in validation environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of short- and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
Ownership of system applications in support of Pfizer Global Business Services, Quality and integrated functions.
Manages own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division
Contribute to the design and delivers solutions that meets the critical needs of the business and supports value realization.
Supports projects, process improvement initiatives and ongoing enhancements and ensure they are driven by business value globally, legal and/or regulatory requirements.
Ensures business adoption by supporting training, communities of practice and end-user engagement on a continuous basis.
Follows compliance of solutions developed and implemented to ensure risk management of the business processes.
Exercises own judgment leveraging knowledge and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (Any Science related) is required
3-4 years of work experience is needed. SAP experience or Pharma is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills to enable interactions at various levels in the organization
Understanding of Chemical or Pharmaceutical business process and key success factors for business performance
Knowledge of SAP Quality Module or systems design and deployment experience is a plus
Facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
Experience using standard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, interviewing, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases desired
Demonstrated ability to perform technical project management
Knowledge of software development life cycles and project management processes
Able to work on cross-functional teams and independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and senior business leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Processes and Pharmaceutical background is preferred
Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
Knowledge of System integration with applications including external systems
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
20-30% Travel
