What You Will Achieve

The PGS Kalamazoo Pfizer CentreOne (PC1) Lead position reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations and has a dotted line to the PGS Vice President of CentreOne Operation. This role is the SPOC for all Kalamazoo related third party manufacturing and serves as the voice of PC1 within the Kalamazoo site to all levels of the organization and externally to the PC1 Commercial team and respective customers.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Direct supervision of three colleagues.

  • Responsible and accountable for the execution of the PC1 customer account activities as they relate to adherence of the supply and quality agreements for API/Intermediates and Drug Product third party manufacturing at the site.

  • Main point of contact at the site for PC1 contract manufacturing inquiries. Proven ability to navigate both the internal site organization and the external PGS network to address inquiries factually and timely.

  • Support and coordinate the RFP process to new PC1 business opportunities.

  • Responsible for reporting key operational metrics related to PC1 accounts for supply performance and PC1 absorption targets.

  • Facilitates continuous improvement opportunities at the site related to PC1 supply performance.

  • Represents PC1 in site initiatives to ensure best practices between Customer obligations and site processes. Networks with other site PC1 Leads for alignment of global processes and solutions.

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify and execute solutions to site-specific supply challenges and partners to develop long-term strategies for operational excellence and execution for the PC1 customer base at the site.

  • Leads and drives the at-site triad operating model to efficiently address customer supply performance.

  • Owns the escalation process with the proven ability to clearly communicate and maintain strong working relationships.

  • Negotiates and collaborates with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization including senior leadership of various functional lines across Pfizer Global Supply.

  • Leads initiatives to drive operational efficiency improvements related to PC1.

  • Prepares and presents to site and network senior leadership on performance improvement areas, achievements, strategies, and new business opportunities.

  • Leads quarterly Site/PC1 Commercial Business Review meetings.

  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating customer site visits.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • BA Degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or Science

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing.

  • Finance / Budgeting experience required.

  • Strong management, organization, interpersonal, writing, presentation, and verbal skills.

  • Experience leading and navigating across matrix teams.

  • Ability to work with and present proposals and updates to senior leadership and project teams.

  • Ability to operate with and maintain confidential information.

  • Experience interfacing with Commercial and Business Development organizations and demonstrated strategic business acumen.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross functional projects

  • Demonstrated personal leadership, accountability, and organizational skills with proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
