Role Summary

The Corporate Affairs Project Manager & Scrum Master will support the delivery of new digital products and solutions, ongoing enhancements, and operations for Corporate Affairs digital programs including the areas of global external corporate engagement, activation, patient assistance, media, government relations, and reputation. This includes delivery of internal and external corporate projects across global sites, associated country and regional assets, and integrations, in support of Pfizer's Bold Move goal of Leading the Conversation.

This role is responsible for agile project delivery & project management, coordination across business clients, client partners, Digital teams, and vendors, ensuring delivery practices adhere to agile values and principles for continuous development and delivery of products and solutions.

Role Responsibilities

Under direct oversight this role will:

  • Oversee digital and vendor teams to deliver workstreams and key deliverables for global projects across the Corporate Affairs digital portfolio.

  • Define, identify, and lead the implementation of analytics reporting for projects and maintain strategy for portfolio-wide reporting.

  • Lead requirements fulfillment, issue/risk mitigation, technical implementation, project coordination and status reporting via agile delivery, managing multiple concurrent projects.

  • Proactively identify, address, and mitigate issues in partnership with support leads and/or project workstream leads.

  • Analyze and summarize operational data, identifying trends or areas for improvement.

  • Lead business-facing demonstrations of build deliverables, answer queries and/or document unmet needs.

  • Organize, document and lead User Acceptance Testing and associated remediation for new project build and enhancements of solutions across the Corporate Affairs portfolio.

  • Contribute to the completion of project tasks, organizing work to meet project task deadlines and milestones.

  • Gather, analyze, document, and communicate business and technical requirements.

  • Perform business process mapping and analysis.

  • Lead and coordinate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

  • Understand the project’s functional/technical requirements and provide support to the functional/technical teams, helping the team to solve challenges and engendering a collaborative, knowledge sharing environment.

  • Support the development team in maintaining a steady delivery rate, protecting them from outside interruptions, and removing impediments to their progress.

  • Actively promote agile practices within the Corporate Affairs Creation Center, working with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness/adoption of agile practices.

  • Perform risk assessments and manage the compliance risk profile and SDLC lifecycle.

  • Provide ongoing updates of project management data flow and systems, including Pfizer Digital portfolio reporting, and digital risk management/compliance systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, major in a technical field such as Information Technology or Life Sciences a plus

  • 3+ yearsexperience

  • Proficiency using data analytics platforms (i.e. Tableau, Adobe Analytics, PowerBI)

  • Experience working on agile projects and experience as the role of a scrum master

  • Facilitation, negotiating and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations

  • Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving

  • Experience usingstandard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, interviewing, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases desired
