Why Patients Need You

Pfizer’s purpose is to deliver breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. Research and Development is at the heart of fulfilling Pfizer’s purpose as we work to translate advanced science and technologies into the therapies and vaccines that matter most. Whether you are in the discovery sciences, ensuring drug safety and efficacy or supporting clinical trials, you will apply cutting edge design and process development capabilities to accelerate and bring the best in class medicines to patients around the world.

What You Will Achieve

As a Senior Scientist, you will be at the center of our operations and you’ll find that everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality. In your role, you will join a team responsible for delivering in-silico solutions and capabilities to the broader Bioprocess Research and Development organization. You will implement and expand on first principles (mechanistic) modeling approaches available in the literature and utilize lab-generated data to create statistical models. You will work in close collaboration with wet-lab scientists to develop and validate the models establishing digital twins for critical unit operations. Through this work, you will enable enhanced understanding of complex manufacturing processes for recombinant proteins and biological macromolecules in early- and late-phase clinical trials leading to faster product launches and impact to the patient.
