What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing supply chain projects. You will serve as a liaison between the project team and line management. You will serve as a liaison between the project team and the line management.

As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your experience in project management will be used while reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules and preparing status reports, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Develop ideas, lead or co-lead complex projects across the department, develop and manage plans to achieve objectives.

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in operational excellence and drive projects from concept through to successful implementation.

  • Coordinate the development, evaluation and implementation for the implementation of supply, logistics and distribution network strategies across regions.

  • Anticipate current and future business requirements and ensure flexibility/agility and improve service quality and cost efficiency.

  • Active member of the team with a network of partners (internal and external) to ensure customer expectations are met and support the key Pfizer milestones.

  • Collaborate with all supply teams and operational excellence practitioners across the network.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 7+ years' experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership

  • Knowledge and experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} / Good Clinical Practices {part of GxP} environment

  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes and systems, network design and management, warehousing and transportation planning and management

  • System dexterity and good understanding of SAP/BOBJ/Tableau

  • Good understanding of Pharma Quality and Regulatory framework

  • Strong communication and presentation skills {both verbal and written}, including ability to synthesize information for senior management

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • Good Bio-Pharma business acumen with supply chain experiences

  • Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Role requires adequate level of Pfizer Site presence

  • While this role is mainly office based, it requires the ability to monitor operational distribution/ receiving areas which may require standing, garbing and walking for extended periods of time

  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 15% of the time; must be able to drive and/or fly to vendor locations with advance notice and/or attend job related training as required
