We have a full time Talent Acquisition Specialist position available supporting our Human Resources team open in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.  We hold every member of our team to a high standard of excellence – because everyone on our team makes an impact on our success and contributes to our ability to thrive in the rapidly changing environment.

 

We are looking for a motivated person who is eager to learn and grow as a member of our team – someone who wants to be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates to fill job openings at Microbiologics. This position will assist in the onboarding and orientation process for all new hires. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience. They will also identify potential “fit” through effective administration of the pre-screening, interviewing and early onboarding process to ensure a positive new hire experience.

 

In this role, you can expect to:

 

  • Consults with leaders, hiring managers and the human resources team on position titles, position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Manages all phases of the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions at all locations within the organization.
  • Contact referral sources to solicit and evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, conducts interviews, refers qualified candidates to appropriate staff members for further evaluation and extends offers of employment.
  • Works with managers to ensure that job descriptions, candidate profiles, Predictive Index profiles and other tools are created and up to date.
  • Actively recruits for key future positions at all locations. Maintains a database of qualified candidates and cultivates relationships prior to the positions being available.
  • Develops and executes progressive, integrated recruitment solutions using direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, job fairs and college programs.
  • Supports and assists with the early onboarding process, which includes new hire orientation, for all employees at all locations and ensures they have the foundation needed to succeed.
  • Arranges pre-employment testing, background check, drug screening, and other pre hire activities.
  • Updates all job postings in various Media’s including internet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
  • Communicates with managers and employees regularly to promote Microbiologics referral program and internal opportunities.
  • Creates and assists in negotiation of offer letters, maintains the applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other administration functions as needed. Provides exceptional employee service and support by responding timely and accurately to general employee questions and requests.
  • Works with the organization’s leaders to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their team in a positive, organized, and meaningful manner
  • Supports employees to develop career paths and development opportunities.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in human resources or equivalent degree.
  • Two-years of human resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination will be required upon hire.
