Supply Chain Project Manager


What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the enactment of the implementation plan in terms of project management and change control execution. This role will apply project management and operational excellence to support the application of product launches, variation implementations, and other activities related to the lifecycle management of Amgen products

  • Manage change control timelines with input from Variation Leads and/or Regional Operations Leads driving task completion across multiple functional areas
  • Assure timely and fully manageable (RFT) maintenance of Change Control Management system related to Global Distribution Change Records (GDCR) and/or Customer Facing Sku Change Records (CFSCR)
  • Provide timely updates to collaborators, e.g., Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality on the status of GDCR and/or CFSCR readiness activities and related projects
  • Represent the SCPM Hub in Project Planning meetings, Variation Implementation Meetings and/or Regional Operations Team meetings
  • Establish effective relationships with key collaborators across multiple functional areas
  • Identify and analyze complex problems and opportunities to streamline departmental activities and lead projects to drive improvements
  • Create new procedures and processes to drive desired results
  • Partner with all relevant collaborators to share and implement standard methodologies
  • Enthusiastically navigate an ambitious and dynamic environment, with constantly evolving priorities
  • Implement specific projects and cases as required
  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR
  • Masters degree and 2 years of Operations or Regulatory experience OR
  • Bachelors degree and 4 years of Operations or Regulatory experience OR
  • Associates degree and 10 years of Operations or Regulatory experience OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Operations or Regulatory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in GMP environment
  • Global biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
  • Experience with Change Control Management System
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Experience with Lifecycle Management activities and execution
  • Supply Chain or Operations background
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Technical writing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and records, re-prioritizing as required, to successfully manage workload to timelines
  • Anticipates and prevents potential problems
  • Operational Excellence skills and/or experience/skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, standout colleague and self-starter; serious commitment to quality and excellence
