The Sr. Product Analyst/Business Analyst position provides a unique opportunity to work as part of a fun and innovative engineering team within the Enterprise Engineering and Analytics (EEA) organization. We use many of the cutting edge open-source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services to build next generation capabilities and services in Data Management, Data Analytics, Search, NLP and AI.

As a Product Analyst, you will lead and craft the customer experience for enterprise data and analytics platforms by looking at customer behaviors across the customer journey. You will represent the Voice of the Customer when collaborating internally with Product Management, Product Engineering and Product Promotions to improve the experience and deliver better outcomes

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the product and the customer experience and charting out customer journey maps and Personas with an eye for user experience
  • Talking to customers at pivotal points of the customer journey and distilling insights on what customers value most
  • Contribute to time-to-value by educating users on how to administer and use the product, assisting customers with questions and help with onboarding and supporting our customers through the customer lifecycle (Last Mile Support + Solutions on Demand)
  • Tackle inbound customer challenges quickly and always to the customers satisfaction
  • Promote an energetic fan base for products and locate brand ambassadors to share the product's benefit and value. Build a vibrant community that (1) helps customers, (2) provides a concentrated knowledge base, and (3) create a stream of feedback on our products and customer experiences to the product team
  • Monitor product performance and use data to understand trends in user behavior and product usage to influence strategy
  • Execute on projects by working closely with engineering, product management, product promotions and other members of product teams to land impact on product goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience
OR

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years working in an Analyst role (Business Analysis / Systems Analysis)
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing concrete insights from complex datasets
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Good experience on Excel
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe) and using Agile Project Management tools (JIRA)
  • Experience interviewing existing / potential customers through focus groups, 1:1 interviews and usability tests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders who might have competing interests
  • Experience with database query language like SQL
  • Familiarity with big data technology stack
  • Experience working with cloud-based data solutions
  • Experience developing messaging and / or campaigns for product marketing or advocacy
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across a matrix organization.
  • Dynamic, confident, can-do personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal mentorship.
  • Passion for technology, customer success and innovative thinking
  • Attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Experience in services or consulting organizations or with the IT leader audience is a plus.
