Job Summary 
Lead and manage Global Protective Services operations at designated sites.  Primary responsibilities include employee scheduling, first-line supervision, budget and infrastructure management, project management, performance management, personnel development, and management of contract security contracts. Responsible for enriching the culture of the department and living the Emergent  Core Values.  Plan, develop, and execute projects to successful completion on time and within budget and produce clear and concise written work. Provide executive protection as needed. Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders while professionally representing the company. 
II: Essential Functions 
•    Lead inter-site best practices for security operations
•    Create project plans, cost and timeline baselines, track and monitor project progress including financials, schedule, resource constraints, risks, and other appropriate project performance indicators
•    Prepare and manage budgets
•    Develop and oversee security-related training programs 
•    Prepare and conduct presentations to all levels of the organization to include project and budgetary information
•    Ability to negotiate difficult matters and facilitate cross functional project teams 
•    Provide leadership company-wide in the resolution of security related issues
•    Create an environment of continuous improvement, driving process and resource efficiency
•    Lead subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with company culture
•    Conduct performance reviews, develop and administer enhancement plans, and follow-up on personnel issues
•    Manage contract security vendor contracts to include ensuring appropriate staffing and performance
•    Provide executive protection for Board of Director meetings and at other times as needed
•    Have a working knowledge of all security systems
•    Assure communication of key Company/Department initiatives and objectives to staff
•    Provide proactive and timely updates to reporting manager, associates, peers, and other stakeholders
•    Perform program assessments and drive continuous improvements for identified gaps.
•    Develop working relationships with appropriate Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies 
•    Represent Global Protective Services and Emergent during regulatory agency inspections. Interact with contract, corporate, and governmental agency auditors
•    Manage emergencies and critical incidents
•    Conduct investigations following established protocols and procedures; write and review incident reports
•    Conduct site security audits & threat and vulnerability assessments as needed for Emergent properties. Use collected data to develop Site Master Security Plans

III: Education, Experience & Skills
•    Bachelor’s Degree  or equivalent education and training required
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or security systems experience required
•    Must have good written and oral communication skills. 
•    Prior experience with developing and maintaining budgets
•    Strong Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) development, investigation and protocol writing skills, and demonstrated ability to critically evaluate content of such documents
•    Strong organization and time management with the ability to adhere to deadlines
•    Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 
•    Ability to obtain certification in Defensive Tactics, CPR, First Aid, AED and Concealed Weapons Permit  
•    Successfully meet minimum requirements for Physical Agility Testing and pass medical physical/ drug screening
•    Valid driver’s license 
•    Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment, spirit of cooperation and positive reactions to change and conflict resolution
•    Able to travel globally, work an irregular schedule, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed, additional hours during peak times or as required
