Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Patient Access & Reimbursement Manager, will report to the Patient Access Enabling Technologies Senior Manager. This individual will support the design and implementation of our Patient Support Programs through use of technology including business process operations, integrations, data and analytics between Amgen's Patient Access CRM ecosystem, to build and deliver patient and HCP capabilities (Call Center, Nurse support, Field Reimbursement support, Copay and Fulfillment). This role will also function as the budget coordinator for the Enabling Technologies team responsible for the PO creation process, tracking actual spend to budget/forecast and be POC with the other budget coordinators and brand teams.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Patient Access CRM across the business lifecycle for all Products/Services.

  • Work with business partners, end users, and technology teams to capture, understand, and define business requirements

  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of CRM solutions

  • Provide detailed requirements and guidance to developers and other product team members.

  • Create and maintain traceability to requirements and testing outcomes

  • Manage and continuously refine a backlog of requirements/user stories.

  • Identify and assess risks and dependencies for custom developments and other system changes

  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements

  • Partner with business teams to conduct and/or support user acceptance testing.

  • Support processes for production bug fixes, system enhancement, documentation, release management and support activities

  • Facilitate key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, testing, and end user training

  • Manage the PO creation and approval process

  • Provide invoice and accrual management

  • Coordinate quarterly LEs and yearly budget submission

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorates degreeORMasters degree and 2 years of experience in either patient support programs and/or information systems, marketing, analytics, or sales operationsORBachelors degree and 4 years of experience in either patient support programs and/or information systems, marketing, analytics, or sales operationsORAssociates degree and 10 years of experience in either patient support programs and/or information systems, marketing, analytics, or sales operationsORHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in either patient support programs and/or information systems, marketing, analytics, or sales operationsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Experience collaborating with business partners for soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user requirements

  • Experience detailing user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams

  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks within a collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to get the job done

  • Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets

  • Excellent organizational skills with critical eye for detail

  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners

  • Ability to quickly solve problems that may arise in work products

  • Ability to build and execute effective test plans and test scripts and traceability matrix

  • Experience leading and supporting users through user acceptance testing

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
