What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role an integral member of a dynamic group of scientists and platform experts you will perform clinical biomarker assays employing a variety of platforms to support our drug development efforts.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited

• Collaborate with scientists representing multiple therapeutic areas and work closely with groups in other functional areas.

• Employ a wide variety of platforms including Immunohistochemistry and multi parametric flow cytometry in our biomarker laboratory to develop and qualify biomarker assays to support various clinical programs.

• Choose the appropriate platform, plan and perform laboratory experiments

• Document experimental protocols and results, analyze and interpret data

• Present results to the stakeholders and working with internal and external partners.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree and 3 experience in biomarker assay development and qualification.

OR

Bachelors degree and 5 years of the relevant scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IHC assays and IHC image analysis software such as HALO is a preferred.

• Experience with complex data analysis software for flow cytometry such as FlowJo, FCS Express, SPADE, viSNE and CITRUS is a must.

• A strong background in multi-parametric flow cytometry assays including immunophenotyping and immune based functional assays is required for this position.

• Previous experience working in a matrixed environment to execute cell-based (flow cytometry and IHC) assay development and validation to support clinical trials.

• Project management skills to meet critical timelines associated with various activities necessary to support biomarker assessment of clinical samples

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple studies, strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of motivation, creativity and collaborative qualities.

• Familiarity with processes and factors needed to evaluate, qualify and manage CROs.
