Supervisor, Manufacturing (Upstream) Day Shift

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Manufacturing, you will manage a production team. You will coach, train, and develop team members to perform in a Flu Vaccine manufacturing facility. Your role with us will primary be in Upstream operations.

6am-6pm

2.2,3 schedule

Responsibilities:

You will:

• Oversee a staff of production personnel to ensure safety, training, and quality compliance are prioritized for manufacturing goals for us.
• Develop manufacturing staff for future leadership roles for us.
• Manage resources and material requirements to meet production and budget targets for us.
• Ensure production goals are met and metrics are within performance range.
• Identify process improvements.
• Implement changes that are needed to build a better team.
• Correct content for better execution of SOPs and production batch records for the team.
• Manage deviation investigations and technical issues for us.
• Support continuous improvement programs with us.
• Schedule manufacturing activities and helps complete equipment maintenance and validation.
• Be the process expert, technical resource, and coach for the production team for us.
• Use (SAP, TrackWise, WebTraining, Delta V, Data Historian) to accomplish production operations for us.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Biotechnology coursework; Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering discipline will be considered.
• Minimum 5 years' related pharmaceutical industry experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry or equivalent will be considered.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.
