The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern will support the finance team in the creation and analysis of forecasts, reports, and excel models. This is a 10-week paid internship.


The Financial Planning & Analysis Internrole is located is Bryan, Texas.


  • Assist in monthly forecasts with business partners
  • Review and create variance reports to better understand the actual and forecasted expenses
  • Assist in creating complex excel models to manage capacity for the Bryan, Texas facility.
  • Maintain models with the direction of Supply chain
  • Assist in assessing and implementing process improvements to the financial planning modeling
  • Assist with ad hoc financial modeling
  • Help create business dashboards and reports
  • Assist in building standard business model to be used with PMO and project managers.
  • Assist head of FP&A with Adaptive planning system
  • Focus on learning how the organization runs and expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your selected career field.
  • Design and complete an Internship Project with input from the Head of FP&A.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic skills in problem solving, prioritization and time management
  • Ability to quickly learn new techniques/skills
  • Financial and business acumen with an ability to put context around data


  • College student working toward obtaining bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Must have completed 60 credit hours.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Excel


  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • The work requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
