Job Details

Resilience is seeking a talented Research Associate II to join us as a valued member of the Cyto Innovation Process Development team. This researcher will focus on hands-on execution of protocols involving induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) for Resilience’s developing Regenerative Medicine Modality. The successful candidate will support the development of Resilience’s best-in-class hypoimmune iPSC generation platform and will collaborate broadly with colleagues in platform R&D, analytical development, and other teams across the Resilience biomanufacturing network.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform culture, expansion, and banking of human iPSCs and other cell lines.

  • Operate nucleofectors, flow cytometers, and other equipment across the iPSC Regenerative Medicine platform.

  • Conduct gene editing of human iPSCs, clone screening, and related QC assays.

  • Perform media and buffer preparation, cytokine aliquoting, inventory and supply management, equipment maintenance and calibration, and other essential tasks to support Cyto Innovation laboratory operations.

  • Document experimental procedures, perform data analysis, and ensure data management best practices are followed.

  • Work closely with the Analytical Development group on material transfer, coordination, and data analysis for iPSC assays.

  • Assist with organizing and streamlining process development workflows.

  • Support the design, procurement and testing of process development equipment.

  • Maintain and foster a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cell Biology, immunology or a related discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience in an industry setting.

  • Understanding of cell culture methods, aseptic technique, biological and/or chemical analytical methods, and the operation of laboratory equipment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with human cell culture protocols.

  • Experience with molecular assays and sample processing such as DNA extraction, PCR, etc.
