We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Scientific Researcher in Antibody Engineering Department at Genentech. The main responsibilities include molecular cloning and characterization of antibodies, providing support for HTP work process automation, and building informatics tools for data registration, tracking, and machine learning.


  • Senior Scientific Researcher: B.S or M.S with ideally 3-5 years experience in industry is desired 

  • Principle Scientific Researcher:  B.S or M.S with ideally 5-10 years experience in industry is desired 

  • Expertise in molecular biology such as DNA/RNA isolation, cloning, RT-PCR, sequencing and data analysis.  Experience in hybridoma/B cell cloning, NGS, automation, Elisa, Biacore, Octet, and Wasatch preferred.

  • Computer programming experience in Python and R highly desirable.

  • Highly motivated, eager to learn/develop/apply new skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.  Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
