The primary objective of the Field Tools Senior Analyst is to support the AbbVie Field Tools team. Key areas include: field analytics, project management, and standardization and continuous improvement of field tools. The Senior Analyst will support all AbbVie sales forces. They will also take a lead role in coordinating analytics & operations in the project areas between the AbbVie stakeholders and vendor partners. They will report directly to the Associate Director of Field Tools.

Skill Areas:

Statistically Supported Analytics: A successful candidate will be skilled in a variety of analytical techniques. These can include, but are not limited to; regression analysis, cluster analysis, and data visualization.

Technology/Software: A high degree of proficiency in several technological areas is paramount to this role. The candidate must have experience with SAS and have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Candidate should be skilled in visualization software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Tableau Software, and Microsoft Visio.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Understand strategic and tactical issues while employing appropriate methodologies to analyze data and provide insights as it relates to field tools
  • Drive multiple complex projects, balancing between short-term and long-term objectives. Also responsible for managing the projects within budget and timelines
  • Design and deploy optimal solutions that are innovative, add value and meet business requirements
  • Develop and deliver formal presentations to internal and field teams
  • Collaborate with peers, franchise liaisons, integration teams, and sales and marketing leadership on a regular basis. Share successful strategies, best practices, and lessons learned with these constituents­
  • Serve as key liaison between AbbVie stakeholders and vendor partners. This role requires a continuous coordination & communication to ensure adherence with operational timelines. Examples include:
    • Participate in regular “pod calls”
    • Keep off-shore partners apprised promptly of developments arising during the US daytime that would affect off-shore operations – e.g. daily digests over email or occasional phone calls outside standard US business hours
    • Able to clearly present different analyses created by off-shore partners to AbbVie Field Operations stakeholders
  • Ensure vendor-assisted projects are managed within budget, time constraints and appropriate methodologies
