The Oncology team is looking for a motivated R&D Associate to join their team! Support a larger research team developing cancer immunotherapies. Support multiple preclinical studies evaluating in vivo activity of investigational agents in preclinical tumor models. Function as a liaison between research investigators and veterinary staff working in the animal facility. Weekend work is at times required per study needs. 

As an R&D Associate, a typical day may include the following: 

-  Compound administration, which includes pain medication, investigational drugs or other agents, into mice via multiple routes including subcutaneous, intravenous, intra-peritoneal, intramuscular or oral gavage

-  Injection of mouse or human cells or tissues, such as human tumor or blood cells, into mice via subcutaneous, intravenous or other routes

-  Mouse necropsy, post-mortem collection of tumors, organs and tissues 

-  Blood collection from live animals; bone marrow collection from live animals is preferred but not required

-  Maintaining accurate experimental records

-  You enjoy communicating with multiple investigators, which includes receiving directions and providing updates on working days

To be considered for this position, you must have a BS/MS degree and between 1-5 years of experience. We are seeking proven hands on experience working with mice and experience with IV, IP, SC, IM, or oral gavage.
