Description:

The Doudna Lab at the Gladstone Institutes is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate (RA) with strong interest in CRISPR gene editing and tumor biology. Ongoing projects include using CRISPR-based approaches to study cancer dependencies, and developing in vivo gene editing tools. The RA in this position will require a combination of wet lab molecular biology techniques and tissue culture, as well as animal work. This would be an excellent opportunity for any candidate who is interested in pursuing graduate school in the future.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 2+ years relevant experience

  • BA/BS degree in biological sciences

  • One or more years of wet lab experience, preferred

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Attention to detail in experimental techniques and record keeping.
