Temp-Scientist, Analytical Chemistry

Regeneron Pharmaceutical’s Analytical Chemistry Group, located at Tarrytown, NY is seeking a highly motivated and driven Scientist to join our group. In this role, you will work with LC-MS technologies to support the development and characterization of therapeutic protein candidates. You will focus on applying state-of-the-art mass spectrometry technology to conduct host cell protein (HCP) analysis and biochemical characterization of Regeneron's antibody-based therapeutic protein candidates and/or products.

A Typical Day as a Scientist Might Look Like:

• Perform LC-MS/MS based methods for therapeutic protein structure elucidation, including PTMs, product and process related impurities, especially for host cell proteins (HCPs).
• Perform analytical characterization of biotherapeutics, including monoclonal, bispecific antibodies, and other modalities to support drug development.
• Identify and improve existing or developing innovative analytical methods to better support HCP analysis and therapeutic protein characterization.
• Works independently on crafting experiments, drafting protocols, carrying out experiments, performing data analysis, detailing work in electronic notebook (ELN), generating study reports, and presenting work at the group and department meetings.
• Participates in the general lab and instrument maintenance.

This Role May Be for You If:

You have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry (or related discipline) with a focus on mass spectrometry. Have a proven track record of publications in the fields, with 0-5 years post-doctoral or pharma/biotech proven experience.

• You have experience in LC-MS method development and data analysis.
