About the role

We are looking for a Research Associate with experience in in vivo research to help Sana advance Research programs using Hypo-immune pluripotent stem cells (HIP). You will help develop biologically relevant animal models to advance programs in Beta Islet, Kill Switch, and Safety Strategy. You will support Sana's in vivo efforts developing next-generation cell engineering technologies to create engineered cells as medicines and report to the Director, HIP in vivo.

What you'll do

  • Perform in vivo imaging
  • Perform necropsies
  • Work with other functions within the HIP team
  • Communicate scientifically rigorous findings via verbal and written communications, visualizations, and presentations

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma plus 4 years in vivo experience or bachelors in relevant field
  • Familiar with PowerPoint
  • Familiar with in vivo optical imaging

What you should know

  • This position requires weekend and some holiday coverage
  • Working safely in person on a predictable and regular in-person basis is essential for this position. Sana that all individuals working in-person be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including receipt of a vaccine booster shot if recommended by the CDC
