The Director of Robotics and Business Process Automation is a key member of the Application Management services and delivery organization, responsible for planning and driving the execution of automation projects. The pace of adoption for Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation continues to accelerate across Regeneron. The Director of Robotics and Business Process Automation will lead the next phase of growth as a key member of the Application Management services and delivery organization at Regeneron.

In this role, a typical day may include:

  • Serving as the authority in implementation and adoption of Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management and other Intelligent Automation technologies across the Enterprise
  • Setting the vision and strategy for RPM & BPM projects: intakes, demand management, technology selection, implementation planning, and adoption.
  • Partnering with solution implementation customers; including Business Solution Partners, Operations, IT Shared Services and Business Operations resources to ensure that automation solutions are appropriately prioritized, implemented and transitioned efficiently to operations
  • Partnering with supported functions to understand their business processes as it relates to Automation. Assessing automation capability needs, solutions planning and delivery of automation solutions
  • Oversight of internal and vendor delivery teams in support of data, analytics, and automation projects - driving definition of development processes and standards
  • Partner with IT teams on advancing Automation tools along with deploying appropriate solutions where needed
  • Integrating project scope, timing, and budgets as needed.
  • Oversight of the planning and implementation of robotic process automation, and business process management
This role may be for you if you have:
  • Strong knowledge and leadership capabilities around assessing, planning and implementing RPA and BPA Projects
  • Outstanding experience applying relevant technologies, business processes and systems used for automation solutions
  • High accountability for driving success from a technology standpoint. Mentoring individuals in Agile processes and tools. Providing status reporting on project key performance indicators, schedules, resources, and delivery.
  • Solid experience leading the delivery of sophisticated cross-functional systems applications, with an understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Experience managing technology capability identification, selection and implementation
  • Good problem solving, technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple programs and development stages

To be considered for this role you must possess a minimum 10 years of related experience leading the planning and implementation of automation projects in a large, matrixed enterprise (Experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred) Strong experience in RPA/BPA solutions architecture, integrations, engineering and development. Solid understanding of automation tools and capabilities such as UI path, Automation Anywhere, Appian, and others. Strong background within project management, vendor / customer budget management and collaboration
