QC Specialist – Emergent BioDefense Operations Lansing LLC

Location: Canton, MA, US 02021

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Maintain analytical methods and instruments throughout product lifecycle
•    Conduct method verification, qualification and validation
•    Analyze and interpret data
•    Write protocols and reports
•    Support transfer of analytical methods and method validation
•    Author change controls and CAPAs
•    Implement quality control systems to meet cGMP/GLP requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
•    Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, plus 2 years of experience as QC Analyst or related; OR Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, plus 6 years of experience as QC Analyst or related
•    Must possess demonstrated experience with: general immunological, bioanalytical test methods; ELISA, qPCR, viral and cell based assays, HPLC, UV and IR spectroscopy, Karl Fisher titrations; cGMP, CFR, USP and data integrity; authoring and executing method qualifications, method validations and instrument qualifications; and authoring SOPs, change controls, deviations and CAPAs.
