As a Device Development Engineer, you will participate in and/or be the lead creative mind responsible for the design of innovative specialty drug delivery devices to address emerging needs in Regeneron’s product pipeline, advancing medications getting delivered to patients in need around the world.

Level to be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Being challenged to find the sophisticated solutions in developing next-generation injection devices

  • Collaborating within a design team while excelling at individually owned tasks

  • Working with program management to identify and plan tasks vital to developing a project from concept to clinical and commercial launches

  • Vetting designs with precise calculation, FEA (ANSYS), and statistical tolerance stacking with Excel and Sigmetrix Cetol 6σ

This role might be for you if:
  • You enjoy using Solidworks CAD and PDM to model meticulous designs and create ANSI engineering drawings with the incorporation of extensive GD&T

  • You have used molding, assembly, machining, and other process knowledge to develop designs that are manufacturable and cost efficient

  • Working hands-on with tools and machines to build and develop fixtures, methods, and test prototype devices is your passion

  • You have experience with documenting and presenting concepts and results with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

To be considered for the Device Development Engineer position you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field along with 2 or more years of experience in mechanical design of medical devices or complex consumer products.

To be considered for a Senior Device Development Engineer position you must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as noted above.

To be considered as an Associate Device Development Engineer you must posses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
