The Research Study Coordinator will work in collaboration with Therapeutic Focus Area (TFA) teams by providing logistical support for outsourced in-vivo, non-GLP, pre-clinical studies including early discovery, exploratory toxicology and proof of concept studies at Regeneron.


As a Research Study Coordinator, a typical day may include the following:


-  Serve as operational and technical liaison to external contract research organizations (CROs).

-  Initiate/coordinate discussions with CROs in collaboration with TFA scientist.

-  Assist with the initiation of proposal request and collection of competing bids.

-  Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to manage contracts within approved budget limits.

-  Coordinate and track sample shipments worldwide in alignment with Shipping and designated labs.

-  Develop and implement strategies to resolve CRO problems or issues (i.e., drug and/or sample shipments).

-  Establish and maintain positive and cooperative relationships across the organization and externally.

-  Ensure effective communication with line management of all ongoing project activities status, issues relating to programs and personnel.

-  Able to collaborate and interact with all levels of employees and management with excellent written and communication skills.

-  Advance knowledge of contract management software programs, MS Office, SharePoint, Concur and Teams.

To be considered for this position, Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and two+ years of related R&D operational support experience. Or a bachelor’s degree plus 3 years or more years of relevant industry experience preferred. Experience working with contract research organizations in the conduct of rodent and other species studies is preferred.
